About Get My Bag
A packing and student logistics company that started with MUCM students' bags.
The 2020 story
In March 2020 a whole cohort of MUCM students left the Manipal campus in India for the Melaka and Muar campuses, and their rooms stayed behind. In September that year Jameel Mohamed surveyed the students, and 108 of 109 asked for the same thing: courier it back to us.
Get My Bag (then Get My Bagasi) packed those rooms in December 2020, 141 students and 624 cartons in one 40-foot container, and kept going: a batch every six months until the last Manipal cohort finished in March 2023. More than 500 student shipments, 1,879 cartons, about 36 tonnes, campus to campus.
In Manipal the company grew into a full packers, movers and student logistics business. Get My Bag Malaysia brings the same team's method to the journey home: pack in your room, weigh in front of you, ship with your batch, deliver to your door.

A small crew that has packed hundreds of hostel rooms. Your boxes are packed by our own team, to the same method every time: agree the piles, pack, label, weigh, photograph.
How the shipping works
Get My Bag packs, collects, stores, coordinates and delivers. Export carriage and customs clearance are performed by licensed partners: a licensed freight forwarder and customs agent in Malaysia and a licensed Customs Broker in India.
